About us
Ross-on-Wye Choral Society was founded in 1967 and has established a reputation for excellent performances of a broad-based repertoire. We enjoy the support of a loyal audience, for whom a Ross Choral concert is something not to be missed.
Our Musical Director is Stephen Power, who has been our very accomplished accompanist for our rehearsals and concerts for the last two years.
We normally put on two major concerts a year, one at Christmas and the other in the Spring. Depending on the timing of the Spring concert, we may also stage a more light-hearted event in the Summer, often in the form of a Come and Sing. We perform with professional soloists and accompanists, and at least once a year with a professional orchestra.
